Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist in the Gainesville area to provide order entry, routing, dispatching, and traffic coordination support. The role offers an evening schedule (Monday-Friday, 4:00pm - 12:00am) and opportunities for growth within the RXO network.

You will maintain customer profiles, track loads, coordinate with drivers and account managers, and ensure timely, accurate delivery and documentation. A minimum of 1 year in logistics is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions; update receivers and customers on status.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition.
• Take check calls from drivers; ensure loads deliver on time; validate load data for accounting.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages; complete appropriate documentation.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers.
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers.
