Job summary

Bellevue Club on Seattle's Eastside is seeking an experienced full-time Line Cook to join our premier kitchen team. The role may be assigned to any station—Sauté, Grill, Pantry or Banquets—as well as perform prep work as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of professional line cooking experience in a fast casual, high volume restaurant.
• Open availability for day and evening shifts.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and take constructive criticism.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Solid understanding of basic cooking methods.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies.
• Take inventory of mis en place and carry out daily prep list production.
• Prepare menu items using various techniques and coordinate with other stations for timing.
• Read food tickets and communicate with other stations and wait staff to ensure timely service.
• Maintain high food quality by tasting, smelling, and visual inspection.
• Keep station clean and organized for the next shift.
