Job summary

Crowne Plaza KC Downtown in Kansas City, MO is seeking a PM Line Cook to prepare high-quality items in accordance with recipes and brand standards, while maintaining a safe, sanitary kitchen and delivering courteous, guest-focused service.

The role requires the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, stand for long periods, and follow SOPs. Marriott/Hilton/IHG experience is a plus, with $18–$20 hourly pay and comprehensive hotel benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Ability to read recipes and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to standard recipes and guest checks, following brand standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in all kitchen areas.
• Receive and store deliveries and manage inventory as directed.
• Work with upper kitchen management and other departments as needed.
• Assist in ongoing hotel programs and department coordination.
