Job summary

Thompson Dallas in the Dallas, TX area is seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team. This hourly, full-time role supports the Chef Team by cooking and assembling dishes and by preparing mise en place for service.

You will execute food to culinary standards, manage cooking times and temperatures, follow opening and closing kitchen protocols, handle and rotate products, and maintain a clean, sanitary workstation.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred but not required.
• Upscale and/or fine dining experiences preferred.
• Food Handlers Certifications required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Execute food product that meets culinary standards
• Maintain understanding of cooking times and temperatures as dictated by Chef Team
• Maintain an understanding of proper kitchen opening and closure protocol
• Handle, store, and rotate all product properly
