Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a dedicated production employee for a second shift in a food manufacturing environment. You will unpack materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

You will inspect products, document waste, and report issues to the supervisor. Flexibility for weekends and overtime ensures consistent operations and safety compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0 to 1 years of experience available.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and document waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and equipment breakdowns.
• Perform duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations and GMPs.
