Job summary

Judson University Evening Library Supervisor position supports library operations during the evening hours. This part-time role runs during August–May with classes in session, primarily Mondays and Wednesdays starting between 4pm–6pm and ending 9pm (11pm during finals).

You will supervise the Circulation Desk, train student staff, and ensure policy adherence in a Christ-centered environment. The role reports to the Access Services Supervisor and requires a bachelor’s degree with supervisory

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to sort letters and numbers alphabetically and numerically.
• Affinity for establishing rapport with college students.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the library during evening hours and enforce policies to maintain a safe, productive environment.
• Supervise Circulation Desk operations during shifts.
• Oversee library closing procedures.
• Assist with interlibrary loan requests and borrowing.
• Assist with checking in print periodicals, shelving, collection maintenance, and usage statistics.
• Support print book collection management, inventory, and repair as needed.
• Promote the university and library mission in a Christ-centered work environment.
