Job summary

Area-Substance-Abuse-Council (ASAC) seeks a Lead Recovery Support Professional to supervise residential activities and support patients on their recovery journey. The role requires managing staff, coordinating programs, ensuring safety, and maintaining documentation.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check are required. The position offers $19.85 per hour for full-time work with evening, overnight and weekend shift differentials, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

This candidate must have a high school diploma/GED.
Experience in human services or residential settings.
Prior manager or shift-leader experience is required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Supervise patients in residential activities (meals, programming, safety, etc.).
Assist in supervising and training Recovery Support Professionals.
Ensure group programming is professional and supervised.
Document incidents, logs, and program data accurately.
Model professional interaction and lead the RSP team by example.
Back-up coverage for staff absences and on-call duties as needed.
Coordinate medication control and schedule drug-screen procedures.
Coordinate patient transportation and monitor facility cleanliness and safety.
