Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Lead Janitor for part-time evening shifts in commercial facilities. The role coordinates cleaning teams in dry and cold environments and reports to the site supervisor.

You will ensure tasks are completed to standards, manage supplies, supervise floor and carpet care, and review performance. On-the-job training is provided, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position.
• On the job training will be provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions effectively

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers, and inspects completed work for conformance to standards
• Oversee floor and carpet care employees
• Issue supplies and equipment
• Perform duties of janitorial staff
• Appraise employee performance
• Address customer complaints and resolves problems
