Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to each client’s specifications and maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment in the evenings.

Part time role with evening shifts, paying $14 per hour and weekly pay. On-the-job training is provided; high school diploma or 6 months janitorial experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and manage disposal; use of compactors as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned per client scope.
