Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a Cook to supervise and assist in the preparation of all food items for the Restaurant/Dining Outlets, Cafe, Room Service and Employee Cafeteria, ensuring high standards and an appealing product for guests.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, ability to work under pressure, and familiarity with standard recipes, sanitation schedules, and collaboration with kitchen staff to maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• 3+ years related progressive experience or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Food Handlers Certification required per state requirements.
• Must be able to convey information clearly.
• Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in the food preparation for all outlets.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and kitchen cleanliness.
• Train staff and supervise on kitchen line during operating hours.
• Assist in banquet food preparation following Banquet Event Orders; ensure timely completion.
• Prepare food for Employee Cafeteria as necessary.
