Job summary

Dimondale Nursing Care Center is seeking a Laundry Aide for a full-time evening shift (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM) in Dimondale, MI. You will sort soiled linen, operate washers and dryers, fold clean linen, and deliver to units.

Starting wage is $15.00 per hour with $0.85 per hour hazard pay and annual increases. Candidates must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and communicate in English with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linen, load and unload washers and dryers.
• Operate computer-operated washers and dryers according to operating procedures.
• Sort and fold clean linen accurately and in a timely manner.
• Deliver clean linen to appropriate units and handle carts safely.
