Job summary

Dimondale Nursing Center is hiring a Laundry Aide for a full-time Evening shift (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM) in Dimondale, MI. You will collect and sort soiled linen, load and unload washers, and deliver clean linen to assigned units.

You must lift up to 30 pounds, follow written and verbal instructions in English, and communicate effectively with residents and staff. Starting pay is $15.00/hour plus $0.85/hour hazard pay, with yearly wage increases; rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linen and load/unload washers/dryers.
• Operate computer-operated washers and dryers according to procedures.
• Sort and fold clean linen accurately and timely.
• Deliver clean linen to appropriate units and push carts carefully.
