Job summary

Nexus of Columbia is seeking a reliable Laundry Aide PM to join our facilities team. You will assist with laundry processing, sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing, while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.

This role supports a fast-paced environment, requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, and shifts including evenings and weekends. A high school diploma and 1 year of related experience are preferred, along with strong teamwork and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laundry processing, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding of linens and clothing.
• Ensure all laundry equipment is properly maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor laundry output and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry facility, adhering to infection control standards.
• Collaborate with other facilities team members to ensure seamless operations and efficient communication.
• Perform tasks as assigned by management to support the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
