Job summary

Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our environmental services team on a part-time basis. You will maintain a clean and comfortable environment for residents by managing facility linens and personal clothing, primarily during the PM shift.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and delivering laundry to rooms and storage areas, while adhering to infection control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Strong attention to detail and respect for resident privacy and property.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron facility linens and resident clothing.
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and designated storage areas promptly.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers safely according to instructions.
• Sort and treat stained items with appropriate cleaning agents.
• Maintain organized, stocked, and sanitary laundry rooms and carts.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and hazardous communication policies.
