Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety rules and requirements.
• Knowledge of raw materials (steel and aluminum) and blanking processes.
• Ability to read and understand material tags and production instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor the laser blanking line to produce blanks per specs.
• Reconcile coil identity to production schedule and check gauges.
• Program the laser, import part information and check laser heads.
• Monitor blanks and adjust laser setup for quality.
• Remove scrap and assist maintenance with troubleshooting.
