Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) in Wisconsin is seeking an operator to set up, adjust, and run CNC and laser systems to produce parts per instructions. You will read job orders, program machines, load materials, and verify parts using precision measuring tools.

The role includes routine machine maintenance, laser programming, and on-line material ordering in support of production. Team collaboration with the Steel Shed group is essential.

• Troubleshoots problems and adjusts machine as necessary to correct.

Set-up, adjust and operate multiple CNC, laser systems to produce parts in accordance with instructions. Set and adjust cutting speeds and optics to ensure proper operation. May make adjustments to programs as authorized.
