Job summary

Central Garden & Pet Company is seeking a Lab Tech to support scientists and R&D in product development through sample preparation and analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in an analytical lab and a BS in Chemistry or related science.

This is a night shift position (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday - Wednesday) requiring training on 1st Shift. The role involves rigorous documentation, basic lab techniques, and effective communication. A comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance and 401k is offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an analytical/QC lab role, preferably in a production environment.
• Strong organizational and project planning skills.
• Proficient in lab techniques and following protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized sample preparation and analysis.
• Support scientists and engineers in the development of new products.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform daily calibration checks.
