Job summary

Dayton Physicians Network is seeking a Technical/General Lab Supervisor to oversee the in-house moderate complexity laboratory. The role ensures supervisory coverage, quality management, regulatory compliance and accurate testing across CLIA standards.

Responsibilities include leading lab staff, maintaining SOPs, equipment maintenance, and effective communication with physicians. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with at least 2 years of healthcare/lab experience; strong MS Office and EMR skills

Qualifications

• Requires supervision of laboratory operations and staff.
• Experience with moderate complexity testing and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of CLIA, OSHA and HIPAA standards.
• Ability to develop and maintain SOPs and quality control logs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise in-house laboratory operations and staff.
• Oversee specimen processing and test performance.
• Maintain quality management plans and regulatory readiness.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and documentation compliance.
• Communicate with physicians and management about lab operations.
