Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Marlborough, MA is seeking an experienced Lab Supervisor for the Evening Shift (Mon-Fri 3:00PM-11:00PM or 4:00PM-12:00AM). You will oversee the Core Lab’s daily operations, coordinate staff schedules and ensure quality control in hematology and chemistry testing.

The role requires 4–6 years as a medical technologist with supervisory experience and a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance; ASCP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Four to six years full-time experience as a medical technologist or equivalent in a clinical laboratory.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Hematology and Chemistry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and stand for long periods and operate lab equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department activities, assign work, set priorities, and schedule procedures.
• Hire, train, and develop staff through evaluations and coaching.
• Perform advanced laboratory tests and verify test results.
• Ensure quality-control measures and adherence to standards.
• Maintain lab areas and equipment in safe, sanitary condition.
• Assist technologists during peak workload.
• Participate in inspections and regulatory compliance.
