Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift activities (60%); schedule staff for adequate coverage and adjust based on workload.
• Supervise and counsel staff; input on performance for appraisals; conduct staff competency assessments.
• Act as liaison between lab assistants and technologists to ensure efficient workflows.
• Monitor workflow using online systems; verify specimen collection and receipt; streamline operations.
• Maintain competency in basic and technical duties; train laboratory assistants; lead in manager’s absence.
• Maintain procedure manuals; document incidents; participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
