Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Courier to collect and distribute specimens to the laboratory, handle internal and external mail, and deliver supplies and equipment between patient and lab locations. The role requires a high school diploma, a WA driver’s license, and a safe driving record.

The position offers evening shifts and weekend scheduling as part of a 0.2 FTE commitment. Ideal candidates have laboratory experience and reliable driving; pay is provided per hour

Qualifications

• Laboratory experience preferred.
• Current Washington state driver’s license required.
• Proof of a safe driving record meeting MultiCare standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect and distribute specimens from patient locations to the laboratory.
• Distribute internal mail, external mail, supplies, printed materials, and equipment among patient and laboratory locations.
• Support daily courier tasks and related duties as assigned.
