Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in a lab setting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders and order tests in appropriate system.
• Perform phlebotomy, accurate patient identification, and proper specimen collection.
• Sort and process specimens received by the laboratory and ensure specimen integrity.
• Coordinate a sequence of tasks to meet turnaround times and workload fluctuations.
• May perform registration, inventory maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
