Job summary

Qualifications

• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedural setup and specimen processing.
• Label, process and distribute specimens according to department standards.
• Set up lab testing and/or procedures for technologists to read.
• Enter collection information into the hospital information system (LIS).
• Check instruments and replenish reagents and supplies as needed.
