Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience in a technical or clinical laboratory.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures accurately and safely.
• Must comply with health and safety policies and PPE use.
• Proficient in basic lab equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen receiving, labeling, handling and preparation.
• Assist with pre-analytical preparation and load automated instruments.
• Record digital temperature and notify personnel if out of range.
• Enter data in laboratory information systems (LIS) and perform QA/QC duties.
• Dispose of biohazardous material.
