Job summary

Cozzini Bros., Inc. is hiring for a sharpening line team member in Houston, TX. You will work on a state-of-the-art knife sharpening line, grinding and honing blades for delivery, with tasks across check-in, sharpening, honing, dishwashing, sanitation, quality control, and box out.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to learn knife-grinding machinery. Monday–Friday shifts run 2:30 PM–11:00 PM in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Willing to rotate through all sharpening line tasks as needed.
• Ability to learn and operate knife-grinding machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a section of the knife sharpening line including grinding, edging, honing, buffing, sanitizing, drying and box out.
• Maintain throughput and quality, rotate tasks, and keep a neat, clean work area.
• Report issues with box quality or variances to management and follow safety policies.
