Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Kids Supervisor to lead engaging activities for children from three months to 11 years old within the Academy and classes. You will greet members, supervise activities, and ensure a safe, fun environment while promoting Life Time Kids programs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, on-demand certifications before start, and timely CPR/First Aid completion. Prior experience with children is preferred and customer service skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Must complete Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before start date.
• First Aid and Infant/Child/Adult CPR/AED certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Must meet all state or federal requirements before first day.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Engage children with storytelling, crafts, singing and games.
• Monitor safety and environment around toys and equipment.
• Maintain operational documentation, audits, and staffing checklists.
• Promote Life Time Kids programs, products and services.
• Complete team evaluations and provide coaching as needed.

Position Summary

The Kids Supervisor enforces and provides best-in-class engagement and play. Manages and implements engaging safe, fun and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of three months to 11 years within the Academy and classes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings
• Maintains the operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklist and staffing
• Promotes and sells Life Time Kids programs, products and services
• Completes Team Member Evaluations, provides feedback and coaching as needed

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before 1st day of work
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
• Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with children
• The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
• Customer service and strong communication skills
