Job summary

Challenge Enterprises is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment at the Clay County Tax Collector's Office in Middleburg.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and prior janitorial experience. Schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background check.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Two years of janitorial or custodial experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and SDS.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and clean waste containers.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and horizontal surfaces.
• Clean glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect water coolers.
• Maintain stairways and entrance areas.
• Perform tile floor maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
