Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and maintenance within assigned client sites. The role is part-time with morning hours, and pays $15.50 per hour.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or six months janitorial experience) and on-the-job training. Flexibility and attention to detail are essential for meeting client specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months janitorial experience.
• On the job training provided to learn procedures and safety.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and manage waste; operate a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule and utilize heavy cleaning equipment when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned per client needs.
