Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor for the 2nd shift in the Baltimore area. You will manage Independent Contractors, ensure contract compliance, and support quality standards across multiple clients.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 2–3 years of management experience, and relevant facilities or janitorial background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry.
• 2-3 years prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing other individuals.
• Building, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience a plus.
• Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
• Bilingual capability would be a plus.
• This role is Monday-Friday, 5pm-1am and will require travel in the counties of Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Howard, Harford, Carroll and Baltimore City.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with Independent Contractors by communicating client priorities and solving problems.
• Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business.
• Communicate with your Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recap.
• Make recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines and actions.
• Manage inspections, customer complaints or requests, new account starts-restarts.
• Execute City Wide’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance by ICs with authorized, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use.
• Other duties as necessary.
