Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) seeks a Janitorial Crew Member in Cedar Falls, IA, for a 10pm–4am shift. You will perform cleaning tasks across floors, restrooms, offices, and public areas while following safety procedures. The role offers a flexible schedule and a growing team with leadership opportunities.

This position requires physical stamina to stand and walk long hours and reading safety documents. Access to the KBSPresence app is used for timekeeping and training compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals (English; may be Spanish where required)
• Use of KBSPresence timekeeping app for clock-in/clock-out and training requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors across the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and polished surfaces; dusts fixtures and shelves.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer and team restrooms.
• Complete sweep logs and operate equipment safely.
• Follow health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
