Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to join a fast-paced, growing team. The role focuses on cleaning rooms, restrooms, floors, windows, and surfaces across the facility, with emphasis on safety and adherence to procedures.

The position offers opportunities in a dynamic environment with shift options and a chance to be part of a larger service provider serving diverse clients across North America.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
