Job summary

Ciocca Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a hands‑on Janitorial Area Supervisor to lead cleaning teams and uphold quality across multiple facilities in the Fort Wayne area. You will train staff, inspect buildings, coordinate coverage, and step in to clean when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning teams across assigned facilities.
• Learn each building’s cleaning requirements and inspect work regularly.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Monitor attendance and performance, arrange coverage, and fill in for absent employees as needed.
• Manage staffing and work hours within each building’s assigned labor goals.
• Monitor inventory and order cleaning supplies.
• Respond to customer concerns and follow through with the team.
• Reinforce safety procedures, proper chemical handling, and use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Follow building security and alarm procedures and keep track of assigned keys.
• Complete training records, evaluations, employee requests, and disciplinary documentation promptly.
• Communicate regularly with cleaning teams, Operations, and management.
• Keep any assigned company vehicle clean.

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Evening shifts within the 5:00 PM–2:30 AM window. Start and end times vary by assigned area and workload. Weekend availability is a plus.

Requirements

• Availability for full-time evening shifts with varying start and end times.
• Ability to travel between multiple facilities during the shift.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Reliable transportation. A company vehicle may be available during the shift, depending on the assigned area.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
