Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor in Mobile, AL. The part-time role runs evenings from 5pm to 9pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $14.50 per hour and weekly pay.

The janitor will perform general cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites, with flexibility per client specifications. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (or 6+ months janitorial experience), on-the-job training, attention to detail, and the ability to follow

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces; sweep, mop, scrub or vacuum.
• Follow procedures for cleaners and equipment to protect floors.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrances.
• Empty trash and handle disposal; use compactors as needed.
• Clean windows and glass partitions with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot-clean carpets; assist in extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
