Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Maintenance/Janitorial worker to support ongoing cleaning, staining removal, waxing, carpet care and window cleaning at our San Antonio locations. The role emphasizes community impact and reliable daily presence.

You will perform floor care, carpet extraction, dusting, and general upkeep while adhering to safety and loss prevention policies. The position includes full-time hours with potential for growth and community-focused development.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years experience in commercial cleaning environment.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work indoors in controlled conditions and later travel if needed.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements and work a day shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor finish removal using approved removers and follow procedures.
• Apply floor finish (wax) to floor surfaces following directions.
• Shampoo carpets to remove stains and ensure uniform appearance.
• Clean exterior windows and remove film, dirt, and smudges.
• Maintain general housekeeping and safety compliance at site.
