Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time Janitor in Plano, TX. The role is 5pm–11pm, Monday through Friday, and includes performing general cleaning and upkeep of client sites to maintain a clean, safe environment.

You'll follow established cleaning procedures, operate cleaning equipment, and restock supplies while maintaining high standards of quality. Weekly pay and steady work are offered by a leader in facilities services.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent or >= 6 months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and objects.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash cans and use compactors as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot-clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, buffers).
• Perform other duties as assigned per client needs.
