Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana is seeking a Part-Time Janitor to support federal facilities under the AbilityOne program. The role focuses on maintaining clean and orderly office spaces, hallways, restrooms, and common areas as needed.

Shifts run 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at 8899 E 56th St, Indianapolis. The position emphasizes reliability, physical stamina, and adherence to safety standards in a clean, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and attentive listening. Reads and comprehends basic work-related documents.
• Able to carry out simple instructions and handle standard tasks with minimal supervision.
• Safety consciousness and adherence to protocols are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish fixtures, surfaces, and equipment.
• Clean and disinfect furniture, restrooms, and common areas.
• Transport trash and maintain supply levels.
• Set up spaces for meetings and events.
• Sweep, mop, and wax floors; clean carpets and upholstery.
