Job summary

RL Canning, Inc. is seeking a Service Desk Analyst (2nd Shift) to support IT services and enterprise systems. You will handle phone and walk-in end-user support, log and track incidents, and coordinate resolutions with the appropriate teams. The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, ticketing accuracy, and customer care.

The position is full-time, hybrid in Chicago with a US-based hourly wage of $23.00–$26.00, plus a benefits package. Travel may be required for client projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work in Customer Service or IT environment.
• Experience with ServiceNow or FreshService ITSM tools.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user phone support and first-level walk-in support.
• Log calls and document tickets with proper notes in ticketing systems.
• Evaluate issue severity and route to appropriate resolver groups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues over the phone when possible.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution.
