Staffmark in Elmhurst, IL is hiring an Inventory Associate to support warehouse operations and inventory control. You will pick, pack, and ship items using handheld scanners and warehouse computer systems.

The role requires basic math, English communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Day-to-day duties include receiving, storing, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners or mobile warehouse devices.
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, kit, transform, and dispatch products using handheld scanners and warehouse computer systems.
• Move materials and inventory from receiving, production, and storage areas to designated locations.
• Receive, store, distribute, and organize products and materials within the warehouse.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare products for shipping and distribution.
• Sort and place inventory on racks, shelves, and storage locations according to product codes, size, type, or other specifications.
• Open and process incoming containers, crates, cartons, and shipments.
