Job summary

PCI Group is seeking an Inserting Operator in Pineville, NC. The role focuses on producing inserted materials per Standard Work Processes to meet quality, output, and efficiency targets.

Responsibilities include operating inserting equipment, maintaining logs, and coordinating with the Assistant Operator to ensure proper processing. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with preferred experience on Pitney Bowes or Bell+Howell systems.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; vocational/technical preferred.
• Experience in a mail facility with high‑volume/high‑speed inserting machines is desired.
• Ability to read/write English; basic computer skills and understanding of workflows.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Work procedures.
• Make ready, operate, maintain and troubleshoot inserting process.
• Complete QC procedures and logs (MRDF, DCS, etc.).
• Coordinate with Assistant Operator to ensure finished materials are processed correctly.
• Understand machine capabilities for optimum print quality; maintain workflow efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure proper job setup; inspect for adherence to procedures.
• Interact with other departments (Pressroom, Mail Dispatch, Warehouse, Shipping, Technicians).
• Maintain safety, OSHA standards and 5S in the work area.
