Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 4 East Inpatient Rehab team in a part-time role. The unit focuses on rehab for TBI, stroke, orthopedic surgery, and spinal cord trauma, with a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift and coordination with a well‑structured care plan.

The RN must be licensed in Michigan with BLS; ACLS for certain departments; BSN preferred and a plan to obtain BSN within five years.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing program enabling NCLEX eligibility for RN licensure. BSN preferred.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency.
• Canadian RNs encouraged to apply.
• BSN must be obtained within five years of hire/transfer to RN.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care.
• Uses teach-back to educate patient and family.
• Seeks to prevent potential hospital-acquired complications.
• Communicates patient status, goals and interventions during rounds and handoffs.
• Follows HIPAA policies and hospital mission and values.
