Pine Rest is seeking a Registered Nurse for the second shift on the Hickory unit in Michigan. The role emphasizes compassionate care, nursing process application, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support patients with mental health and substance use disorders.

This onsite position offers a sign-on bonus for part-time and a path to full-time with added shifts. Excellent patient care and documentation are essential, along with adherence to safety standards and recovery-focused

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Michigan (RN).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Onsite position; may require weekend and holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop a care plan with an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide nursing care to individuals and groups in collaboration with the physician.
• Educate patients' families and manage milieu and discharge planning.
• Document, report, and verify information per policies.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff; monitor for safety risks.
