Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Cape Cod is hiring a Patient Care Assistant for the evening shift on Cape Cod. The role offers either part-time or full-time hours with a $750 sign-on bonus and on-site work at 311 Service Road, working under licensed personnel to support daily living activities and vital signs.

Responsibilities include documentation in the EHR, assisting with transfers and ambulation, and collaboration with RNs and physicians to ensure safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience in patient care/elder care 0-1 year preferred.
• BLS, CMA, CNA certifications preferred (Massachusetts CNA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and monitor vital signs.
• Document care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and assist with admissions/discharges.
• Set up equipment, maintain room cleanliness, and assist with meals as needed.
• Communicate with nursing staff and support 1:1 patient safety and care.
