Job summary

Mom’s Meals is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Grinnell, IA to maintain and repair production equipment, conduct preventive maintenance, and support facilities tasks. The role prioritizes machine reliability and equipment performance in a food service manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in machine maintenance, experience with gas-fired equipment, 480V/3PH electrical systems, and familiarity with ammonia systems, boilers, and PLCs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant machine maintenance experience.
• Experience with gas-fired equipment and 480V 3PH electrical.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, ammonia systems, heating, boilers, pneumatics, and/or PLCs preferred.
• Commitment to GMPs and other food safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Perform general facilities maintenance (light plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Create and supply parts lists for repairs and backups; suggest purchases.
• Train operators on setup and adjustment of equipment.
