Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Reading, PA.

You will perform mechanical and facility maintenance to keep plant operations safe, efficient, and reliable, with emphasis on troubleshooting and hands-on skills. The role requires a background in hydraulics, welding, and electrical troubleshooting, plus experience with PLC-based control systems and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience with technical certification or 3+ years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, plumbing, welding, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with industrial control systems, including PLCs.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues involving bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and related components.
• Plan, layout, and install mechanical devices and systems in compliance with codes.
• Fabricate simple structures using welding or bolting per prints/diagrams.
• Read and interpret equipment schematics and service manuals.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow plant safety policies including LOTO and Confined Space Entry.
