Cerro Wire LLC in Ogden, Utah, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support continuous production by maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical and PLC systems. The role operates on a 6:00PM–6:00AM 2-2-3 schedule and requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, safety mindset, and the ability to read and follow work orders in English.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with problem solving.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, update and close out work orders in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform all job duties with safety as priority.
• Install, maintain, and repair motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues.
• Access and interpret PLC logic for troubleshooting.
• Fabricate, weld, and build mechanical or electrical components.
• Maintain logs and communicate between shifts.
• Follow safety, environmental, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Partner with vendors and contractors; participate in lean events and 6S.
• Support continuous production operations on a 24/7 schedule.
