Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician in Smyrna, GA. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical upkeep across high-speed production lines, with hands-on work in automation and machining. A strong diagnostic mindset and machine shop experience are essential.

The position offers a fixed M–F 2nd shift (3 PM – 11 PM), overtime opportunities, and a competitive starting pay of $27–$32 per hour, depending on expertise. High School education required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and complete rebuilds on all plant equipment including high-speed envelope production and ancillary machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals to install, maintain, and repair plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to assist production personnel during shift runs.
• Operate machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, welding) to fabricate or modify parts.
• Monitor, schedule, and document PM activities to ensure long-term machinery reliability.
• Research, source, and requisition replacement parts, tools, and maintenance materials as needed.
• Conduct facility and equipment safety inspections following OSHA standards and LOTO protocols.
