Job summary

Formica Group North America is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for an evening shift in Cincinnati. You will install new equipment, diagnose and repair equipment failures, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications include at least 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience or completion of an accredited Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship (576 classroom hours and 8000 hours on-the-job).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ industrial mechanical maintenance experience or completion of an accredited Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship program (576 hours classroom, 8000 hours on-the-job).
• Self-directed and safety conscious.
• Industrial maintenance mechanic skills.
• Ability to work in restricted areas, climb ladders/platforms, work at height, and lift heavy components.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Shift variety with potential overtime.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment and diagnose/repair equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems; rebuild pumps and gearboxes.
• Sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, rigging, process piping, and routine preventive maintenance.
