Job summary

Debbie's Staffing is recruiting a Machine Operator for a client in Mooresville, NC. Schedule: 2:50pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays as needed. Pay is $16.50/hr with weekly pay; temp to hire arrangement.

You will learn complete operation, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of plastic bottle manufacturing equipment and contribute to safe, efficient production. The role requires mechanical aptitude, hands-on work with older machinery, and the ability to work independently or as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous machine operating, automotive technician or electrical experience is required.
• Must be able to troubleshoot problems and think critically.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic bottle manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Learn and understand the mechanical, pneumatic, and operational functions of production equipment.
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments as required.
• Monitor production quality and make machine adjustments to maintain specifications.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and identifying root causes of mechanical problems.
• Work closely with maintenance personnel to understand repairs and machine operation.
• Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Read and follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
• Accurately record production data and downtime information.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge of equipment and manufacturing processes.
