Job summary

Debbie's Staffing is seeking Machine Operators for our client in Greensboro, NC. This is a long-term temporary assignment with varying hours. Flexibility to work any shift and overtime is required. Pay is $18.00 per hour with weekly pay.

Responsibilities include monitoring materials, setting machines, inspecting products, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Previous production experience, reliable attendance, and steel-toe shoes are expected requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year production manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2-5 years machine operator experience.
• Must be able to read English.
• Steel Toe shoes required.
• Standing for 8 hours.
• Reliable transportation, location not accessible by public transportation.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Be a team player and show respect to others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all raw materials used in production to conform to specs.
• Ensure machinery is set to run given specifications.
• Inspect final product using SOP testing methods and instruments.
• Package and label final product per customer requirements.
• Inform QA of nonconforming or suspect products.
• Quarantine and label any nonconforming material.
• Report issues to Production Manager/Quality Manager.
• Operate production process efficiently and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain open communication with factory personnel.
• Suggest improvements to quality system or production process.
• Keep production records as procedures require.
• Have authority to make quality-related adjustments or stop machine if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
