Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience with children and families or a college degree in human services.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must pass drug screen, MVR, KBI, Central Registry, and FBI fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct in-home crisis management services and supports parenting and life skills.
• Teaches, models, and demonstrates safe behaviors and child development techniques.
• Develops short term safety plans and coordinates with community partners during crises.
• Maintains thorough documentation and completes Saint Francis Ministries forms on schedule.
• Transports and supervises children and families as needed and ensures client rights are protected.
• Reports incidents to appropriate channels within required timelines.
• Provides clerical support to case teams and assists with file handling as requested.
